From The North on the A1 heading south, turn off onto the A1068 South Road and head into Alnwick. Take the 4th exit at the roundabout staying on the A1068 Alnmouth Road for about 7 miles passing through Lesbury and Hipsburn until you cross the bridge over the River Coquet into the centre of the village.

From The South on the A1 heading north, turn off onto the B6345 and stay on this road for about 8 miles heading for Amble. In Amble turn left onto the A1068 Albert Street and continue on the A1068 The Wynd. The road shouldthen take you toward Warkworth with its distinctive castle. When you reach the village on the A1068 Beal Bank turn right. The road then takes you down into the centre of the village.
